TEAM – We are collective of multi-disciplinary artists that bring our skills and capacities together to create, produce and manage participatory cultural projects that cultivate thinking, revitalize and allow for community-based organization and regeneration.

Founding in 2010 by Alex White-Mazzarella as a public art practice, Artefacting serves in identifying and assembling multi-disciplinary teams/collectives assembled on a project to project basis.

Project teams typically grow to informally include and consist of local artists, researchers, urban planners, photographers, activists, theatre directors, and community leaders. In common amongst members whether local or international is a passion for progress, social justice and strive to make an impact. Each team works closely with volunteers, local partners and communities. Our backgrounds and belief in innate global human equality influences how we work and the connections we make. It is with this awareness and mindset that Artefacting collaborative teams strive to utilize social investigation, local capital and action to make an impact. Artefacting uses creativity and story telling as means of breaking down social and cultural barriers and creating working environments that can produce solutions.
