The Artefacting team collected a range of objects from the local dump and facilitated there transformation into sculptures by a diverse group of teenage children. Public spaces of the sleepy town of Lillestrom were adorned with bright green “dream sculptures” and a main facade was outfitted with a “dreamcatcher” installation. The sculptures were later placed on exhibition in the Town Municipality building for safe-keeping and continued enjoyment. This project was undertaken in collaboration with Akershus Kunstsenter and commissioned by the Skedsmo municipality.

The imagination and curiosity of the public was sparked with people calling for the return of the eco-green sculptures to Lillestrom’s public realm.
